About This Project

Associations with artists, galleries, art institutions, collectors of fine art have resulted, over the years, in numerous restorations, fabrications, collaborations, assemblies, and installations for artists’ by artists’ Burton and Dix.

One such artist, Suzanne Silver, is an Ohio based, internationally exhibited, mixed media artist.  An Associate Professor in the Painting & Drawing Program of Department of Art at the Ohio State University. Silver studied at the Ecole des Beau Arts in Paris, Smith College, and OSU. City Lights Neon initially assisted Silver prior to her first exhibition at the Weston Gallery, Aronoff Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. Burton and Dix developed patterns, created and installed the neon for the 2008 show, and subsequent exhibitions at the Weston Gallery, Center for Ongoing Research & Projects, Columbus, Ohio, and Bureau of Open Culture Columbus College of Art & Design.
